PRODUCTS

NanoSphaera's proprietary process is suitable for decorating surfaces of different materials with metal nanoparticles.

Metallized surfaces are versatile for various applications. They can be exploited for multiple functionalization, as well as anchoring of reactive groups. In some cases, performances can be improved thanks to the decoration process.

Typical laboratory objects can be processed for providing customers with tools featured by augmented functional properties

SOME EXAMPLES OF APPLICATION

  • SILVER COATED MICROSCOPE PLASTIC SLIDES

Microscope slides can be silver coated for an easy grafting of biomolecules (proteins, oligonucleotides, etc) under microarray format

Silver coated substrates gain an improvement of performance because of a drastic reduction of background and increase of signal intensity, compared with untreated slides

NanoSphaera can provide metal finished substrates featured by biomolecules grafting efficiency. The substrates can be then easily functionalized with microarrays (NanoSphaera can direct its customers to worldwide recognized microarray solutions providers)

  • SILVER COATED MEMBRANES AND PLATES

Silver coated membranes and plates have been tested for DNA detection.
Oligonucleotide probes were effectively anchored to the silvered surface.
